“That's why I named him a drummer”

First of all, this is the story of that game company's online game "sky children of the light". The game is enjoyed all over the world and you can make friends and chat with people you meet in the game.

I recognize him as a drummer. I still secretly call him a “drummer”. He is a special friend for me and the one who inspired me to communicate with friends overseas.

I studied English when I was in high school, but studying English was very difficult and boring for me and I hated it. I had almost no chance to speak English in the first place, and I wasn't interested in Western music at all at that time.

The place where I first met him was certainly a canyon. I happened to be logged in during a break from work. In the daily quest or to release the traveling spirit, we happened to open the door together. After that, when I came home without a slider race, he was there and playing the drums with a music sheet.

I'm not good at playing music sheets, but I thought that no one would be bad for music lovers, so I applied for a friend. And I named him “drummer”. Certainly that is around June.

For a while, I didn't see him online at any time, so I imagined he was probably an overseas person living in a different time zone.

A few months later, I went to the ark area with him and his friends. At that time, I had few friends, so daily quests were extremely difficult. Unfortunately, it wasn't a daily quest to hold hands with four people on this day. Even then, I was on a break from work and couldn't travel with them in other areas of GW.

Then I was very curious about what country he was from, and after a while I finally had the opportunity to talk to him. He was a Chilean person from South America that I really wanted to visit.

Then I decided to study English again to talk to him. He doesn't speak English as his mother tongue, but he speaks English clearly better than I do. In fact, my overseas friends are generally much better at English than I am. I would have taken a high school English class seriously even now. Now that I've graduated from school, I can't take English conversation lessons without paying a high tuition fee. Of course I can't afford it.

This is a memory with him. I think he doesn't remember. That's usually the case. I hardly remember the situation when I received a friend request from a friend, so even if my friend told me about that time, I was always stuck in words. 

He gave me an adventure pass as a Christmas present. It was a sudden surprise. How smart! I was so surprised that I couldn't emote or chat for a while, and I'm worried that my joy might not have been conveyed to him. I hope it can be conveyed.

Chile is a country that is not well known to the Japanese. There are some Indian, Vietnamese, Nepalese, Turkish and Brazilian restaurants in Japan, but I've never seen a Chilean restaurant. I searched on the internet and found only one in Nakano, Tokyo, so I'd like to go someday.
